Violence against women (VAW) including girls of Dalits and Adivasis who are living in the plainlands and affected by the COVID pandemic situation.

The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated pre-existing vulnerabilities of Dalit, Harijan, and plainland Adibashi women and girls in Northwest Bangladesh, leading to increased poverty, early marriages, domestic violence, and limited access to education and health services. The study highlights the urgent need for targeted interventions, policy reforms, and improved access to support services to address these challenges and ensure the social inclusion of marginalized communities. Mixed method research approach was employed for the assessment while quantitative data was collected from 320sample and 38 qualitative data was collected.
