SBC Project Baseline Survey 2023.

World Vision Bangladesh and UNICEF’s jointly implemented SBC project aims to combat child marriage and violence against children through behavior change and community engagement. A baseline survey revealed high prevalence of child marriage (up to 79%) and violence (90%) among adolescents, alongside low youth participation and resource awareness. Recommendations focus on youth engagement, addressing economic drivers, and improving WASH and education systems. Mixed method research approach was employed for the assessment while quantitative data was collected from 420 sample and 22 qualitative data was collected.
