Mid-term review of ‘Empowering left behind minority communities to effectively participate in the development process of Bangladesh’ project.

The project empowered left-behind minority communities in Bangladesh, enhancing their participation in governance and development through capacity-building for CSOs, advocacy networks, and change agents. Key outcomes include increased community involvement in decision-making (63% of participants reported their voices being heard) and progress in policy advocacy, such as the formulation of the Hijra and Transgender Act 2022. Overall, the project significantly improved access to services and raised awareness of minority rights, fostering sustainable change and government-community collaboration.
