Impact survey of “Increase production of Mung bean and Aromatic rice for more income and employment though marketing and Value Chain Development Project”.

PKSF’s PACE project, financed with IFAD, promoted agricultural commercialization and created profitable opportunities in southern Bangladesh. Implemented by Grameen Jano Unnayan Songstha (GJUS), it enhanced mung bean, aromatic rice, and sunflower production for 11,750 farmers. Household income increased by 76%, and 1,485 full-time jobs were created. Farmers adopted high-yield seeds, improved techniques, and accessed export markets. Training, market linkages, and quality inputs significantly boosted productivity, profitability, and sustainability, positively transforming the local agricultural market system.
