The Sustainable National Societies and Resilient Communities project, led by SweRC and BDRCS, aims to enhance disaster resilience in flood-prone communities in Jamalpur and Kurigram. Key achievements include a rise in disaster readiness (17% to 87%), access to safe water (50% to 63%), and diversified incomes (21% to 39%). Recommendations emphasize sustaining progress, addressing river erosion, expanding reach, and promoting affordable solutions for challenges like menstrual hygiene. The project significantly enhanced community resilience and self-reliance. A mixed-method research approach was employed for the assessment, while quantitative data was collected from 367 sample, and 15 qualitative data was collected.
