Gender and GBV assessment of host communities of Cox’s Bazar.

The gender assessment in Cox's Bazar identified deep-rooted gender inequalities in the host community, exacerbated by patriarchal norms, low education, and poverty. The study highlighted issues such as limited awareness of legal rights, menstrual hygiene challenges, and cyber harassment. Women have minimal property ownership and less access to services, contributing to their vulnerability and marginalization. Mixed method research approach was employed for the assessment while quantitative data was collected from 390 sample and 47 qualitative data was collected.
