Cohort 2024 Baseline Survey, Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) programme.

The Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) Programme's baseline survey (2024 cohort) assessed 66,850 households across Bangladesh, revealing multidimensional poverty indicators, climate vulnerabilities, and gaps in livelihoods, resilience, and financial inclusion among ultra-poor populations. Its key findings highlight significant challenges in education, disaster preparedness, and access to markets and services, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions. Mixed method research approach was employed for the assessment while quantitative data was collected from 2,510 sample and 48 qualitative data was collected.
