Baseline assessment on “Strengthening the capacity of those displaced by disasters and climate-related causes to cope with adverse situations”.

This baseline study assessed the impact of climate-induced displacement on communities in Shyamnagar and Satkhira, focusing on livelihood, education, and basic services. It highlighted the need for improved access to decent work, training opportunities, basic sanitation, and education, with an emphasis on gender, disability, and climate change adaptation strategies for disaster-affected populations. Mixed method research approach was employed for the assessment while quantitative data was collected from 305 sample and 18 qualitative data was collected.
