Assessing the effectiveness and client Satisfactions on aid services: Emergency Response to meet the immediate food and other basic needs of people affected by Cyclone AMPHAN in the South-West Areas of Bangladesh.

Khulna division, prone to disasters like Cyclone AMPHAN and COVID-19, suffered BDT 654 crore losses in agriculture and fisheries. To aid affected communities, Shushilan implemented a project with Oxfam and Christian Aid. A study involving 428 households found 96% beneficiary satisfaction, clear aid distribution, and effective feedback mechanisms. Challenges included unmet needs like shelter, medicine, and income-generation tools. Vulnerable households, especially women-led ones, faced food insecurity, reduced resources, and migration. Shelter and cash support remain critical needs for sustainable recovery.
